NHS AND OSTEOPATHY CARE NOW ON

In February 2019 the Institute of Osteopathy welcomed NHS England's announcement of plans to improve patient access to services by mobilising other healthcare professionals to support GPs. Osteopaths are among the healthcare professions that have been identified as being a part of the solution.

Strong research supports that musculoskeletal conditions such as back, neck, joint, muscle and arthritic conditions can account for up to one third of GP appointments.
